Using the site
Read the pages, share them, link to them, disagree with them, quote them with a credit back. The site is here for readers trying to choose a video maker; it is not a substitute for testing a tool yourself, and it is not a place to scrape or republish whole articles without asking.
Affiliate relationships
Some outbound links to video tools may earn us a small commission if you sign up or buy. That is how the desk pays for itself. It does not, and has never, decided which tools we recommend or what we say about them — verdicts are written first, then the links go in.
What we cannot promise
Software changes. Pricing shifts. A feature that worked one week may break the next. The reviews here describe one editor's experience at one point in time — useful, we hope, but no replacement for spending an evening with a free trial yourself.
